Build A Church Without Walls!
2 – 4 September 2008, This September, Kong Hee was invited to speak at the Christian City Church international (C3i) Conference, which was held in Waikiki, Hawaii.
Founded by Rev. Dr. Phil Pringle, C3i consists of approximately 200 churches across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Every three years, the churches in the C3i movement gather through a conference to strengthen the amalgamation and the renewal of vision..
During C3i Conference 2008, as a keynote guest speaker, Kong Hee exhorted the many leaders present to build a church without walls by actively blessing the community.
He advocated the merits of active social care, a cause he has championed for more than a decade.
Through City Harvest Community Services Association (CHCSA), established by Kong Hee since 1996, his home nation—Singapore experiences the genuine love of God and His people.
In 2007 alone, CHCSA helped 14,449 service users, out of which 11,508 of them were assisted on a regular basis.
Through his testimony, the congregation at C3i Conference was inspired to live out the maxim of meeting needs and healing hurts.
