And does all these bring people closer to God as you said it is part of your embodiment of doctrine on the Cultural Mandate. If its not bring people to/closer God then at the end of the day it might just be self praise. Anyway, I appreciate her effort to give back to the community. So how are people in the world going to look at Christians all over the world? And what are the effects towards the world? Will this music be played in all the clubs where a lot of dirty dancing and sexy clothing were shown? Will it contribute to temptations? Will the youth follow what the see in the entertainment industry today? Will they think that dressing/dancing like this is fine since my pastor's wife is doing it? I don’t see any value in her image as a nightclub dancer or whatsoever you call it in her MV because it doesn’t make people want to even believe that there’s a God who’s involved if her life (if it even is true). Yes you can argue that she’s not doing it for evangelism purposes but in the Bible, we LIVE to GLORIFY Him. You may find this absurd if you’re a non-believer but you’re of no position to criticise because you don’t understand our basis for all these. It’s just like how the Koreans find it rude if one doesn’t greet his senior and how the Americans find it absolutely fine by greeting with kisses because it’s their culture. Likewise, you wldn’t understand the basis of Christianity if you aren’t a Christian. AND, the point here is she IS a Christian, I don’t think she has renounced her faith as yet ? I had her albumS because i’m asked to support her, I’m haunted day and nite and esp. when i was at church, well do u think i have other choice to not to buy? Sun Ho’s album can be on the top because her husband bought back above 50% of her albums.. (FYI) and let me tell u, after i bought, i even got few cdS of hers FREE! and for the concert ticketS, I got alot… 20 and they are FREE… i got it from church also.. people ask me to distribute.. ck ck ck.. in every church session, we were ‘ASKED’ to pray for her.. so if you want to interpret the word ‘ASKED’ in differently, it’s up to u. was a CHC member around 2000 and I left CHC a few months after that. Guess i was right. Regarding this Sun Ho’s saga, personally I have nothing against a religious leader moving into the music industry to fulfill whatever dreams they have or whatever God has in plan… But I thought the only right thing to do was not to use/manipulate their congregation intentionally/unintentionally as a head-start in their career. Neither should the church nor its members be used as a platform to promote one’s personal gain/fame (making sg famous and making us proud is anything issue altogether). IMHO, those were the fatal mistakes Sun and CHC’s senior leaders made and failed to correct and address it until some of its members felt “betrayed” or some were even “Very Strongly Encouraged and Persuaded” (CHC are well-known hard-sellers of God’s faith) to buy CD’s or do things they don’t really want to. Peer pressure is one thing a person can reject, but when its mixed with religion, it’s another compound altogether. I have been a CHC member for more than 10 years and I must say that I am really disappointed about this entire ‘crossover’ project. I agree with what ‘Member of CHC and dislikes Sun Ho’ said. It’s true that when Sun first stepped into the entertainment industry, the very enthusiastic leaders of the church were ‘encouraging’ the members to buy her albums. Not just one but as MANY as you can afford. Perhaps, this is personal infliction but as a member of the church for so long, I feel paiseh not to ’support’ our own member even though I am not a fan of hers. So I decided that I will buy just one album which is still sitting on my CD rack, collecting dust! But the leader came to me and asked why I’m only buying one and ‘encouraged’ me to buy more to bless the other members! How bizarre?! And needless to say, I am very disappointed when she said she’s never regarded herself as a pastor. She has said at one occasion that she will never renounce her pastorship. Well, where is she now? Anyway, that’s all in the past. Now the church doesn’t promote her or her albums so frequently but at any occasion they find possible, they will subtly mention how she’s helped change lives and why we must pray for her. I think that making use of the church members to boost her business is definitely not right. It now seems like the church members are being used for her personal gain! Forgive sun for what she has done. It’s indeed a huge damage and big disgrace for a christian who will do anything, ANYTHING and anything just to make herself famous. Pastor can indeed have a dream… but a dream that keep using God’s name here and there as an excuse for all the faults she had done is indeed a sinful thing. I have been a CHC member for more than 10 years and I must say that I am really disappointed about this entire ‘crossover’ project. I agree with what ‘Member of CHC and dislikes Sun Ho’ said. It’s true that when Sun first stepped into the entertainment industry, the very enthusiastic leaders of the church were ‘encouraging’ the members to buy her albums. Not just one but as MANY as you can afford. Perhaps, this is personal infliction but as a member of the church for so long, I feel paiseh not to ’support’ our own member even though I am not a fan of hers. So I decided that I will buy just one album which is still sitting on my CD rack, collecting dust! But the leader came to me and asked why I’m only buying one and ‘encouraged’ me to buy more to bless the other members! How bizarre?! And needless to say, I am very disappointed when she said she’s never regarded herself as a pastor. She has said at one occasion that she will never renounce her pastorship. Well, where is she now? Anyway, that’s all in the past. Now the church doesn’t promote her or her albums so frequently but at any occasion they find possible, they will subtly mention how she’s helped change lives and why we must pray for her. And indeed, at EVERY prayer meeting, we will pray for her. I wonder why such privilege when she’s not just a MEMBER of the church. Oh, I forgot she’s the pastor’s wife. Anyway, you all know that she’s open her own boutique, selling Ed Hardy’s clothes. Now, almost the entire church wears Ed Hardy and is the walking advertising for her. Whoever goes on to stage to share testimony or appears on the church announcement videos will wear that label. I think that making use of the church members to boost her business is definitely not right. It now seems like the church members are being used for her personal gain!

Forgive sun for what she has done. It’s indeed a huge damage and big disgrace for a christian who will do anything, ANYTHING and anything just to make herself famous.
Pastor can indeed have a dream… but a dream that keep using God’s name here and there as an excuse for all the faults she had done is indeed a sinful thing.

and she has 46 boyfriend??? those 46 guys must be really blind. Pity her.
and if you are saying that her english is american english, well… then i guess you really like those fake accent…. or you just can’t differentiate between the real and the fake accent.

And in your own tiny, useless brains, your God exists just to justify your words and actions (for him), so that you may find some pathetic, meaningless feeling about your own pathetic, meaningless existence in this world.

2) Sun is just an over-aged ‘actress’ pretending to be a victim of her past sexual abuse, trying oh-so-hard to get the media to throw the spot-light on her. If there’s a God, and if she’s so damn, freaking sincere in carrying out HER god’s works, then she should already be damn famous by now. Do we see America going ga-ga over her? Even Paris Hilton’s jailterm or Britney’s no-panties show are more famous than her! LOL

3) CHC is just a money-making machine, luring idiotic guys to enter with their rock bands and pretty gals, and lesbo gals who enter for other pretty gals. Charity work? Counselling? It’s all in the name of money-making. Get over it. This org. sucks big time and is doomed for failure. Why? Let’s jsut say…it will never cross the 50 year-old mark, with its current trrend of hip culture, e.g. song-singing, beauty pageants, dance performances. True decaying starts from the inside. We’ll just have to see who are in the ‘committees’ and when does the corruptions begin. It Will take place.

4) Chart-topping does NOT equal to Popularity. Get it, CHC idiots? Anyone can swap up tonnes of your records. It just take some ‘under-table’, behind-closed-doors negotiations and pre-planning to jack up the sales by buying back all the records. Get it, CHC idiots? However, the real test begins the moment you step out into the streets. Who knows you? Do the Paprazzi chase after you? Do the crazy fans go after you? Even the American Idol contestants, who have yet to cut a single record, get more crazy fellows chasing after them than your Mdm Sun. Get over it, it’s a fact. Yawnz.
