Dear Pastor Kong,

Thank you very much for sharing the Word of God in mandarin with us at the Chinese Church yesterday. We can feel the love of God and the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit filled the whole hall at JW-B4. Thank you.

From Benny Hinn who wrote to some of us recently:

Somehow we’ve been led to believe that praying is always about the words we speak. As you study God’s Word, however, you will discover that it is often our silence that the Lord desires. The prophet Zephaniah wrote, “Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God...” (Zephaniah 1:7)

As you pray and God begins to fill you, the abundance leaves no more room for words. Yet in your silence you are in total communication with the Lord. You see, God’s presence calms the soul and stills the activities of the flesh.

Prior to this moment you were praying through personal effort and self. Then the Lord walks in and everything stops. When the presence of the Spirit arrives, you know it’s time to be silent. That is when true fellowship begins.

Don’t fear when the Lord wants to take you into the wilderness. It’s a place of isolation where God can talk one–on-one with you. Speaking of Israel, the Lord said, “Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.” (Hosea 2:14)

When God has your complete attention -- when your mind is inactive and self is not in control -- the Lord will begin His fellowship with you.

When quietness comes, the Spirit begins talking. Job said, “...there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying...” (Job 4:16)

If you truly want to hear from the Lord, allow everything around you to come to a halt.

“Be still, and know that I am God...” (Psalm 46:10)

Yes, we must continue to praise God and worship Him. Believe in His power to do miracles. The power of God is what the world needs.

Let's watch a reflection and sharing from a famous healing evangelist as he goes through challenges this week before preaching in Sweden:

http://www.bennyhinn.org/media/pbhurgentmessage.asx

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24) And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

As a disciple of Jesus Christ, we should stand firm to be with the church through the thick and thin, to continue to sow our best seeds we can so that we might see lost souls saved and continue to see them saved, healed, and delivered for years to come. Keep the ministry strong. Urgency and necessity of our prayer are laid upon us for CHC.

May Jesus, the Son of the living God, Who has called us to serve Him and to serve together in unity, bless you from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. May He reward you over and over for your faithfulness, and may He cover you with His presence and anointing as a mantle of kingdom, power and glory.

Thank you for your love and for showing unending kindness for the work of the Lord in CHC. May He also cover you with His presence and power and keep you protected with His mantle of love for the rest of your life. The Lord's name will be glorified throughout the earth.

When our flesh dominates, it fights against our inner man. So the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. When our inner man receives nourishment through the prayer and Word, we can better cope with challenges that confront us. We can experience breakthroughs and live victoriously through our inner man.

As you know, our physical body grows and requires nourishment. Similarly, our inner man has to grow and our spirit requires nourishment. God's Word is like bread and sustenance to nourish our inner man. It is easier to hear His voice when our inner man is strong. We must first fully surrender to Him so He can build up our inner life and free us from the desires of the flesh.

As our flesh leads us, we are overwhelmed by external circumstances. We are dominated by doubt and defeat in our mind. We believe what we see in the natural. We do not want the flesh to direct us. Instead, our inner eyes must be opened and our inner man strengthened so we can believe what we see and hear with our heart.

When our inner man and our heart are strong, we are better able to manage trials, polygraph tests and stress. We are better able to hear what God wants. We will have greater peace. The Holy Spirit then paints on the canvas of our heart so that we see things that others do not see.

Where others see problems, we see God's solution. Because of God's Word and our strong inner man, new ideas, perspectives, concepts, mindsets, solutions, plans, encouragement and strength readily emerge. And we enjoy wonderful fellowship with the Holy Spirit as a result. Yes, we have righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

I pray that Lord would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Lord, I praise You and adore You for developing and strengthening our inner man through Your Spirit and Your Word. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Psalm 91

1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
